Completed in August 2008 our training facility in Livermore features a “live fire” hydronic display. The facility has working boilers, tankless water heaters, pumps, hydronic accessories and hydronic controls. We offer a variety of classes in our live training room. These training opportunities are designed to familiarize you with the features, benefits, and applications of our product lines. Classes are taught by both factory personnel and our own staff.

BOSCH Tankless & Point-of-use Water Heaters
Advanced Condensing Installation and Service Seminar
This is an advanced live demo class with operational heaters. Students receive hands-on instruction and should be professionals already experienced with gas tankless installation and safety.
This one day class runs from 9:00am to 3:00pm. The cost is $50 and includes a continental breakfast, a catered lunch and refreshments.

GRUNDFOS Circulating Pumps
Grundfos Circulator Sizing
This is an introductory training seminar on residential circulator pumps and applications. This class is designed for plumbing, heating and HVAC contractors. This class insures that you will leave with a working knowledge of circulators in plumbing and heating systems and how they can be sold to your customers.
This one day class runs from 9:00am to 3:00pm. The cost is $50 and includes a continental breakfast, a catered lunch and refreshments.

OMEGAFLEX Tracepipe® &Counterstrike®
The first part of this class is devoted to pipe sizing, both for TracPipe, black steel pipe and any combination of the two materials. This section is especially important because of the many changes to the California Plumbing Code. The remainder of the class consists of the required information contained in the most recent design and installation guide. This includes system design and layout, proper assembly of fittings, use of TracPipe accessories and appropriate use of strike protection. Certification cards will be issued to contractors who successfully pass the required test at the end of the class.
This ½ day class meets the 2nd Thursday of each month, from 9:00am to 11:30am. The class will be rescheduled if we do not reach a minimum of 10 attendees. The cost is $25.00

Aquapex Certification
This training seminar consists of detailed information about the material properties of AQUAPEX® tubing, an explanation of the information contained in the AQUAPEX Professional Plumbing Installation Guide, and an opportunity for hands-on experience working with AQUAPEX tubing and fittings. At the completion of the seminar, each person is required to successfully complete the training examination.

Radiant Solutions Fundamentals 101 Workshop.
This course develops an understanding of the key elements of radiant floor heating systems, including delivery fundamentals, installation techniques, zoning, balancing, heat loss, heating plant options, and piping and control strategies.

Radiant Solutions Controls 101 Workshop.
This course features information and installation techniques for Uponor wiring and controls. Participants will experience hands-on opportunities to wire and program Uponor Controls including thermostats and zoning controls as well as the new Climate Control™ Multifunction Controller, the new Climate Control Zoning System and the new proPANEL® series.

Radiant Solutions Controls 102 Workshop.
This course focuses exclusively on the new Climate Control Network Systems using Uponor’s Integrated UCT software tool as well as Network Systems thermostats, field modules, digital zone control modules and primary equipment control relays.
